Our fully trained and highly skilled marine engineers are always at hand to provide you with advice and information resulting in the most cost effective solution to any engineering problem you may be experiencing. We can happily provide you with a quote for any engineering or electrical work such as:

- Narrowboat Breakdowns – We attend call outs within a 20 miles radius from our base from £45 for the callout + £41.50 per hour.
Carpentry, part fit-outs and alterations.
We can provide a quote for alterations, carpentry work and part fit-outs. If your budget restricts you to buying a used boat, you may want to reserve some of your budget to make internal alterations. Our skilled team are able to interpret your ideas and requirements and turn your boat into a practical and beautiful craft whilst maximising best use of space.
HULL BLACKING
It is recommended to black a hull every 2 to 3 years. We carry out hull blacking at Mercia Marina Dry Dock which caters for both narrow and wide beam boats, and a purpose built facility which stays dry once empty. The following prices include: dry dock hire, pressure wash and 2 coats of Sealex B.
HULL BLACKING PRICES:
- Narrowboats 50ft+ = £8.79 +vat per ft
- Narrowboatss 40- 49ft = £9.83 +vat per ft
- Narrowboats 30-39ft = £10.87 +vat per ft
- Widebeams = £13.00 +vat per ft
- Four anodes supplied and fitted cost £156 +vat (At the same time as blacking)
- International Interturf is charged at an additional 52p +vat per ft. Other blacking brands available upon request.
All above prices exclude VAT at 20% and apply from December 2012.
