BARE HULL

After months of planning, work commences at ColeCraft on our second hire narrowboat. This picture was taken just after the new year so the boat has progressed a little further now. I intend to visit the boat again this week so I will update the blog with photos of the cabin top in place, I hope.. The boat will be a 2/4 berth, 50ft cruiser stern and will be named H3O, we think? (The name will probably change just as the signwriter commences work!). She will be equipped with all the latest conveniences that we and hirer’s demand, LCD TV, DVD, Microwave, full size fridge and cooker, macerator toilet and central heating. She will also have an additional 7″ drop down LCD TV with dvd and DVB above the double berth. We are still debating whether we should install a stove, which has proved popular on H2O.

ColeCraft are running a couple of weeks behind with the build but we hope to take delivery of H3O in mid-late February and then commence fitout for an estimated launch date of late April 07. Fingers crossed!
